Lucas Frei Named One of the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona for 2024

Lucas Frei, a valued member of the Dayes Law Firm team, has been named one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona for 2024 by Arizona Business Magazine. Lucas – an attorney with experience in areas of law including tax controversy and litigation, tax planning, estate planning, business law, and personal injury – was one of the few selected for contributing “to excellence in the practice of law in Arizona.”

‘Truly an Honor’

According to Arizona Business Magazine, “Being one of the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona for 2024 Arizona requires a combination of legal expertise, ethical conduct, and effective communication.” It’s not surprising Lucas was chosen based on that criteria, along with the “strong analytical and problem-solving skills” needed to “navigate complex cases” that the honor demands.

When asked about being included on the Top 100 Lawyers in Arizona list, Lucas said, he “was excited, appreciative, and humbled” by his inclusion.

“There are a bunch of fantastic attorneys on that list, and to be included among them is truly an honor,” he added.

Helping Others with Tax Law Concerns

Being regarded as one of the “top” lawyers in the Grand Canyon State by an authority in the Arizona business world is no small feat, and necessitates being energized and inspired by the work the attorneys at Dayes Law Firm do every day. Lucas noted that he is personally “inspired by the fact that I can help people” in the work he does for Dayes clients.

“I have a Master of Law degree in taxation (LL.M), which means that I did an extra year of law school entirely in tax law,” he explained. “I have a skillset that many other lawyers do not possess, and I enjoy using this skillset to help others.”

“I originally chose law as a career to ensure that my family and friends always had protection, and I am able to extend that skillset and help to my clients,” Lucas noted.

‘Best Part of My Job’

Lucas also revealed that he finds all of the work he does for Dayes Law Firm clients “interesting,” but that he especially enjoys the challenge of helping someone “with a large tax debt.”

“Getting to be a part of their life, even if briefly, and affecting them for the better is the best part of my job,” he revealed. “Those large debts can be just insurmountable for a lot of people, and dealing with the IRS can be a monumental job. Using my skillset and helping those people, learning about them, and putting them in a better position after they hire me is the most interesting part of my job.”
